A quiz night at home, without the prep
The hardest part of a family quiz night is writing the questions, especially when the players range from kids to grandparents. This tool does that part for you: choose categories everyone can enjoy, set the difficulty to easy or mixed, and generate a full quiz with answers included.
Print the host sheet for whoever is asking the questions and hand each team an answer sheet, or just read from a phone and let teams write on paper. Swap out any question that does not fit your crowd, and add a few personal questions about your own family to make it yours.
Making it work for mixed ages
Keep rounds short, five questions is plenty for younger players. Use the difficulty setting to keep most questions easy, and pick concrete categories like animals, food, or movies rather than abstract ones. Let kids team up with adults so every team has a fair shot, and finish with a picture round or a this or that round to keep the energy up.

Yes, completely free with no signup. Build the quiz, print the sheets, and play. Your quiz is saved in your browser so you can finish setting it up later.
Are the questions suitable for kids?
You control that. Set the difficulty to easy and pick kid-friendly categories, then review the quiz before you print and swap out anything that does not fit. Adding a couple of your own questions about your family works great too.
How many rounds should a family quiz have?
Shorter than a pub quiz. Two to four rounds of five to ten questions keeps things fun without losing younger players. You can set both numbers in the generator.
Do I need a printer?
No. You can read questions from a screen and let teams write answers on any paper. If you do want printouts, the tool gives you a host sheet with answers and blank answer sheets for each team.
Can I add questions about our own family?
Yes. Every round has an add your own question option, so you can mix personal questions in with the generated ones. That round is usually the highlight of the night.
