Quiz nights are reliable fundraisers
A quiz night is one of the simplest fundraising events to run: teams pay an entry fee, you supply the questions and a venue, and the margin is almost entirely donation. The time cost is usually in writing a balanced quiz, and that is the part this tool removes.
Pick 5 or 6 rounds across broad categories, generate the quiz, and print the pack: a host sheet with every answer and explanation for the quizmaster, and numbered answer sheets for each team. Swap out any question you do not like and add a themed round about your cause or your local area.
Getting more from the night
Common add-ons that raise extra money without much work: sell answer sheet extras like a joker round where one round scores double, run a raffle between rounds, and offer a lifeline for a small donation. Keep the quiz accessible, teams that come last this year will not pay to enter next year. Announce scores between rounds, and use the explanations on the host sheet to keep disputes short and friendly.
Fundraiser quiz FAQs
Is the quiz generator free for charity events?
Yes. The tool is free for any use, including ticketed fundraising quiz nights. There is no signup and no catch; print the pack and run your event.
How many rounds work best for a fundraising quiz?
Five or six rounds of ten questions is the common format, which gives you natural breaks for a raffle or refreshments between rounds. The generator defaults to 5 rounds of 10 and both numbers are adjustable.
What do I print for the event?
Two things: one host sheet with all questions, answers, and explanations for the quizmaster, and one answer sheet set per team with numbered blank lines for each round. Both come out of your browser's print dialog, so you can also save them as PDFs to share with helpers.
Can I theme the quiz around our cause?
Yes. Generate the base quiz from broad categories, then add a custom round with your own questions about your charity, your town, or the people in the room. Custom questions print on the same host sheet.
Are the answers reliable enough for a competitive quiz?
Questions come from a human-moderated community database and each has its correct answer attached, usually with a short explanation. We still recommend a quick read-through before the event, which the host sheet makes easy.
